China extends visa-free entry to 8 European countries
China is expanding the scope of its visa-free entry policy. Starting from November 8, a visa-free policy will be trialed for ordinary passport holders from Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, and South Korea. From now until December 31, 2025, citizens from these nine countries can enter China for business, tourism, family visits, and transit for up to 15 days without a visa. Following the announcement of the visa-free entry policy for South Korea, South Korean travel agencies are significantly expanding their offerings for travel to China. Industry professionals believe that this policy will increase demand for travel to China among the 20 to 40 age group, which has previously shown less interest in visiting China. Previously, the main consumers of group tours to China were individuals aged 50 to over 70.
