Prada Group’s sales up 15% as Miu Miu surges 105%

The Prada Group yesterday reported a 15% increase in revenue for the three quarters ended September 30, reaching 3.83 billion euros ($4.03 billion), up from 3.34 billion euros ($3.46 billion) in the same period last year, with an 18% increase at constant exchange rates. This growth was driven by strong retail sales across all geographic regions, including the Asia-Pacific area, and significant growth from Miu Miu, whose retail revenue soared by 97% during this period and accelerated to a 105% increase in the third quarter. Prada’s retail sales also grew by 4%, remaining a major source of its revenue. By region, Prada’s sales in the Asia-Pacific increased by 9% to 1.14 billion euros ($1.19 billion); despite a challenging market environment, the overall trend in the third quarter was consistent with the previous year, with a 12% increase at constant exchange rates.
