The Paris Spring Tianshan Road store in Shanghai’s Hongqiao-Gubei business district has begun renovations, and is set to reopen in the first quarter of 2025. Part of the Hong Kong New World Department Store Group, the store opened in 2013 and covers 43,000 sqm across nine floors, functioning as a community shopping center. During renovations, it will operate in phases without closing, aiming to attract younger consumers with new offerings in animation, dining, and retail. Once boasting 11 stores in Shanghai, Paris Spring now has only five remaining amid the challenges posed by e-commerce and shifting market dynamics.
