JD.com sees 300% sales spike in Hong Kong, Macau

JD.com announced on October 15 that after it launched Singles’ Day pre-sales, sales in Hong Kong and Macau surged more than threefold within just four hours. Additionally, JD Express revealed that it had established a partnership with Hong Kong Post, allowing JD Mall users to choose nearby post offices or Smart Post Stations for pickup when shopping. The two companies also launched Hong Kong Post’s “self-pickup” service. Users sending parcels from mainland China to Hong Kong via JD Express will be able to pick up their orders at 119 local post offices and 162 Smart Post Stations in Hong Kong.
