Ferragamo yesterday launched its latest short film series titled “Ferragamo Leading Ladies, Extraordinary Women,” featuring internationally renowned ballet artist Yuan Yuan Tan, a close friend of the brand. The series highlights Ferragamo’s ballet flats, originally designed in the early 1950s by founder Salvatore Ferragamo, who drew inspiration from ballet. The 2024 collection introduces a modern take on the classic design, featuring a square-toe silhouette with pleated detailing and a new Vara plaque. Tan’s performance at Ferragamo’s headquarters, Palazzo Spini Feroni, reflects the brand’s blend of tradition and modernity.
