Home appliance purchases will benefit from combined government and Tmall discounts, with prices potentially reduced by up to 40%. Taobao’s Billion Dollar Subsidy will also offer up to 80% off on over 10,000 products, along with additional red envelopes. Livestreaming rooms will distribute 1 billion RMB ($137 million) in red envelopes, with up to 1,500 RMB ($205) per person daily. The event simplifies discount rules, showing only the pre- and post-discount prices. Tmall supports various payment methods like Alipay and WeChat Pay.
