Gucci China bolsters e-commerce strategy with new leadership
Gucci China’s Vice President of Digital, Angie Yeh, stepped down on October 12 after a year in the role, with former LVMH executive Xenia Ku set to succeed her in November. Gucci has expanded its digital presence in China, participating in Singles’ Day (Double 11) and maintaining a strong presence on platforms like Tmall, JD.com, and Xiaohongshu to address performance pressures. With Gucci’s global performance, especially in China, under pressure, expanding third-party e-commerce channels remains a key focus, making the role of Gucci China’s digital head increasingly important.
