Online fast-fashion retailer Shein’s UK business reported a pretax profit of 24.4 million British pounds ($29.7 million) for 2023, with revenue reaching 1.55 billion British pounds ($1.89 billion), a 38% increase ahead of its anticipated London listing. The company expanded its presence in the UK by opening an office in Manchester and launching pop-up stores across the country. This followed reported sales of 1.122 billion British pounds ($1.37 billion) over the 16 months ending in 2022. Shein Distribution UK Ltd, which had 33 employees in 2023, is a fully-owned subsidiary of Roadget Business Pte Ltd, controlled by Elite Depot Limited, registered in the Cayman Islands.
