Just weeks after the departure of creative director Glenn Martens, Y/Project, the Parisian luxury label owned by In-Carnation, has been put up for sale following its move into receivership last month. The brand’s future was already uncertain due to the passing of co-founder Gilles Elalouf in June and Martens’ exit, who had led the brand since 2013. An advertisement on the 2M & Associés site confirms the search for buyers, with interested parties required to submit offers by October 16. Y/Project suspended creditor payments last month. The brand;s cash flow issues became apparent in February when it canceled its fashion show, opting instead to present its Fall 2024 collection via a lookbook.
