Auto shows boost China’s National Day holiday sales
During this year’s National Day holiday, nearly 20 cities in China simultaneously hosted auto shows, making them a popular destination for many consumers. The Suzhou International Auto Show, which lasted five days, concluded on October 5. According to the organizers, over 250,000 visitors attended, with more than 20,000 vehicles sold, generating sales exceeding 4 billion RMB ($567 million). Reporters observed that compared to previous years, this year’s auto shows across major cities in China saw significant improvements in both scale and creativity. They not only served as platforms for car exhibitions and sales but also introduced diverse experiential settings.
