L’Occitane CEO resigns after 6 months

L’Occitane announced on September 17 that Laurent Marteau had resigned from his positions as CEO and Executive Director. In response, the board has established a Group CEO office, appointing Reinold Geiger, Samuel Antunes, and Ingo Dauer as members to jointly take on the CEO responsibilities. L’Occitane was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2010, but officially delisted on September 16 this year, with a market value of approximately HK$49.7 billion ($6.35 billion) at the time of suspension. Marteau, who officially took office in April this year, stepped down on September 16, making his tenure of less than six months the shortest in the group’s history.
