China’s SAIC Motor and JSW Group have announced the launch of a new luxury car brand, MG Select, under their joint venture, JSW MG Motor India, with two vehicles set to debut in early 2025. Targeting the growing “accessible luxury” market, MG Select plans to establish innovative luxury experience centers in 12 key Indian cities during its first phase. The brand will primarily focus on new energy vehicles (NEVs), including plug-ins, hybrids, and electric vehicles, and aims to expand its portfolio to four premium products within the next two years.
