Valentino to switch haute couture for debut co-ed shows
On the eve of Paris Fashion Week, Italian luxury brand Valentino announced that it will no longer hold its menswear and haute couture shows twice a year. Instead, the brand will host a co-ed ready-to-wear show in Paris. The haute couture shows will be reduced to once a year, with the sole haute couture collection for 2025 scheduled to take place in Paris in January. This strategic shift signifies a new direction under the leadership of the brand’s new Creative Director, Alessandro Michele. The first Valentino Spring/Summer 2025 show under his direction is set to be held on September 29.
