Louis Vuitton’s Chengdu restaurant earns 1st Michelin star

Louis Vuitton’s first restaurant in China, The Hall, located in Chengdu, has received its first Michelin star in the 2025 Michelin Guide Chengdu. Led by Italian chef Leonardo Zambrino, who has over a decade of experience at Michelin-starred establishments, the restaurant is recognized for its seasonal, innovative dishes, particularly its treatment of Yunnan mushrooms. Zambrino, appointed executive chef in 2023, also received this year’s Michelin Young Chef Award. The Hall, offering a pan-European menu, will host a collaboration with Hong Kong’s Caprice in a two-day pop-up event for Louis Vuitton’s VIP clients.
