Korean Air expands routes to China, Japan

Korean Air has announced the expansion of its route networks in China and Japan, resuming and increasing flights on several popular routes. Among the resumed services are the Seoul Incheon-Mudanjiang and Busan-Qingdao routes, beginning on October 22 and December 1, respectively. The airline has also expanded its Seoul Incheon-Zhengzhou service to daily flights and will increase its Seoul Incheon-Xiamen route starting October 1. Additionally, Korean Air plans to relaunch its Seoul Incheon-Nagasaki route after an 11-year hiatus and temporarily boost flights on the Seoul Incheon-Osaka route to accommodate autumn travel demand. By the end of 2023, the airline aims to reach 95% of its pre-pandemic capacity for flights to China and 106% for Japan.
