Chinese fitness app Keep opens 1st offline store

Keep, China’s largest online fitness app, yesterday opened its first offline retail store at Shanghai Pudong Kerry Parkside. The store showcases all Keep product categories and features an IP medal wall. Keep’s H1 2024 financial report revealed a 5.4% YoY revenue increase to 1.037 billion RMB ($143 million). The average monthly active users and subscribers were 29.66 million and 3.28 million, respectively. Revenue from Keep’s own-brand fitness products grew by 7.5% to 501.5 million RMB ($68 million), with gross profit rising 21.6% to 158 million RMB ($22 million) and a gross profit margin improving to 31.5%.
