American outdoor brand Oakley opened its first store in China at the Hangzhou MixC Mall, showcasing a range of products including sunglasses, footwear, and apparel. Founded in 1975 by James Jannard, Oakley is known for its high-performance sports gear, with its eyewear widely used in skiing, surfing, and cycling. In 2007, Oakley was acquired by the Italian eyewear group EssilorLuxottica for $2.1 billion, which also purchased streetwear brand Supreme for $1.5 billion in July of this year.
