Moncler optimistic about China despite market challenges
Moncler executives recently noted that despite challenges in the mainland Chinese market, the brand is performing well among local consumers. They highlighted that the rebound in the yen exchange rate will be crucial for the resurgence of the luxury market in Hainan. According to Moncler’s previous performance report, the group’s revenue surged 15% in the first half of the year to 1.04 billion euros ($1.16 billion), with a 3% increase in Q2 revenue to 413 million euros ($460 million), driven by strong performance in the mainland Chinese market and robust growth in Japan. Moncler remains optimistic about long-term growth in China and plans to continue enhancing its market competitiveness.
