Beneunder reportedly cuts branding department amid IPO uncertainty

According to market sources, the lightweight outdoor lifestyle brand Beneunder has completely eliminated its branding department, with all employees from the public relations team having already left. The marketing department has been merged into the sales department. Founded in 2013, Beneunder started with sun protection products and has become the largest sun protection brand in China. In April 2022, the brand submitted its first prospectus for an IPO in Hong Kong, and after it expired, a second submission was made in October 2022. However, there have been no further developments since then. Industry insiders suggest that the elimination of Beneunders branding department may be related to the slim possibility of the IPO going forward. As of now, Beneunder has not commented on the matter.
