Accor CEO optimistic about China’s economic outlook
Gary Rosen, CEO of Accor Greater China, an arm of the French multinational hospitality company, expressed confidence in China’s economic outlook and its significance for Accor’s operations. He praised China’s measures to stimulate the economy and increase demand, especially in the travel and tourism sector, which he views as resilient despite challenges. Rosen emphasized that China continues to be a crucial growth market for Accor, noting that in the second quarter, hotel room revenue from its Premium, Midscale, and Economy divisions in China represented 19% of Accor’s total revenue in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific regions.
