Li Auto smashes delivery record with 51,000 cars in July
Chinese new energy vehicle company Li Auto announced a record delivery of 51,000 cars in July, surpassing the 50,000 mark for the first time since December, driven by strong sales of its new, lower-cost Li L6 SUV, which launched in April and has seen monthly deliveries of over 20,000 units. The Li L6, starting at 249,000 RMB ($34,373), is the company’s cheapest vehicle, aimed at addressing consumers’ concerns about relying solely on battery power by including a fuel tank for extending the battery’s range.
