On July 15, the National Immigration Administration announced the implementation of a 144-hour visa-free transit policy at Zhengzhou Airport, allowing travelers to stay within Henan Province. The policy in Yunnan Province has been expanded from Kunming to include nine cities, including Lijiang and Dali. New applicable ports include Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, Lijiang Sanyi International Airport, and Mohan Railway Port. This brings the total to 37 ports offering this policy, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Xi’an. Citizens of 54 countries, including the US, Canada, and the UK, with valid travel documents and onward tickets, can transit visa-free for up to 144 hours for tourism, business, visits, and family reunions.
