To celebrate the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic relations, the Kering Group and the National Museum of China held an event on June 28 for the return of the Yuanmingyuan rat and rabbit heads. The documentary The Return of National Treasures premiered at the event. In 2013, François Pinault and his son François-Henri Pinault, donated the heads to China. François-Henri Pinault hopes this event will raise public awareness of cultural heritage protection and honor China-France friendship.
