The company clarified that it has not suspended operations, but has restructured some departments and moved certain production units to its Shunde facility in Guangdong. The adjustment is intended to enhance efficiency and better respond to market changes. Chow Tai Fook emphasized that the changes will not affect its business, or long-term investments in mainland China, especially in the Greater Bay Area. With over 7,000 stores nationwide and steady growth, the company said that it is maintaining good communications with affected employees and handling labor relations and compensation legally and properly.
