Paul Surridge to head menswear design at Prada

British designer Paul Surridge is reportedly set to join Prada, where he will oversee menswear design. Surridge previously worked alongside Raf Simons as Menswear Design Director at Jil Sander. Notably, one of the early milestones in his career was serving as an assistant designer to Neil Barrett at Prada. Surridge’s extensive background includes a role as creative consultant at Acne Studios, where he managed the menswear collection. He later joined brands such as Burberry and Calvin Klein and served as Creative Director at Z Zegna. After stepping down as creative director at Roberto Cavalli in 2019, Surridge designed several capsule collections for Corneliani starting in 2022.
