Porsche to cut China dealerships amid slowdown

Porsche China President and CEO Pan Lichi, announced that the company will optimize its dealership network in China due to a decline in market demand and reduced sales. Pan explained that after evaluating the scale and future outlook of the Chinese market, Porsche has decided to make strategic adjustments. The company plans to gradually reduce the number of dealerships over the next two years, with the goal of retaining approximately 100 dealerships by the end of 2026. Currently, Porsche operates 138 authorized centers in China. This move is part of a broader global strategy aimed at addressing market changes and improving the efficiency of Porsche’s operations in China.
