According to data from Airbnb China, search interest from Chinese users for outbound travel during the upcoming Spring Festival holiday has surged nearly threefold. The top 10 outbound travel destinations are Japan, Thailand, New Zealand, Norway, Australia, South Korea, Malaysia, the US, Italy, and Indonesia, with Asia-Pacific locations occupying seven spots. New Zealand and Norway, known for their natural beauty, as well as tropical islands like Malaysia and Indonesia, which are ideal for relaxation, have seen significant increases in search interest. During the Spring Festival holiday, group travel scenarios account for more than half of the searches, with Gen Z being the key driving force behind outbound travel, showing the fastest growth in search volume compared to other generations.
