Limited Sacai x Seventeen Labubu toys sell for $31,250
A limited series of Labubu plush toys, created through a collaboration between Sacai, K-pop group Seventeen, and auction platform Joopiter, recently sold for high prices at a public auction. A total of 14 items were auctioned, with final bids ranging from $18,750 to $31,250, excluding Joopiter’s 25% buyer’s premium. The plush toys were exclusive editions jointly launched by Pop Mart and How2work, dressed in custom outfits from the Sacai x Carhartt Work in Progress collaboration. Unlike previous million-dollar sales of large mint-colored Labubu figures, this auction featured a blind box format where bidders did not know the specific design until after winning. The collection included a rare hidden version inspired by Pharrell Williams’ favorite Sacai footwear.
