The collaboration follows public attention on Wu’s bold makeup looks during competitions, which she has described as an expression of individuality and a different kind of athletic beauty. Wu specializes in the women’s 100m and 60m hurdles and is a core member of China’s national athletics team. Since 2020, she has won multiple national titles, including at the Chinese National Athletics Championships and the National Track and Field Grand Prix.
