Adidas has announced Olympic gold medalist Pan Zhanle as its new brand ambassador. Pan made history in 2024 by setting world records in the 100m freestyle at both the Doha World Championships and the Paris Olympics, becoming the first Chinese swimmer to win Olympic gold in the event. The 21-year-old joins a growing roster of young Chinese athletes backed by Adidas, including breakdancer Liu Qingyi and snowboarder Su Yiming. The move reflects Adidas’ continued efforts to support China’s rising sports talent and contribute to the country's broader sports development goals.
