Dior China execs embezzled $2.82M in 8-year scheme
The People’s Court of Jing’an District, Shanghai, has ruled on embezzlement cases involving LVMH’s brand Dior. According to the verdict, LVMH Perfumes and Cosmetics (Shanghai) saw three individuals misappropriate up to 20 million RMB ($2.82 million) over eight years. They received suspended prison sentences ranging from two to nearly three years. The senior director of Dior’s training department, Mr Ying, and manager Mr Cui systematically embezzled funds between 2015 and 2023 by fabricating expenses for conferences, consulting, and translation projects.
