Adidas Q4 results beat expectations, full-year revenue up 12%
On January 21, Adidas announced preliminary results for Q4 and fiscal year 2024, posting a 19% YoY revenue growth in Q4, reaching €5.95 billion ($6.46 billion). Full-year revenue grew 12%, totaling €23.68 billion ($25.68 billion). Gross margin rose to 49.8% in Q4 and 50.8% for the year, while operating profit surged from €268 million ($290.5 million) in 2023 to €1.33 billion ($1.46 billion). The results reflect Adidas’ successful recovery after the loss of the Yeezy line, driven by strong sales of retro models like Samba and Gazelle. CEO Bjørn Gulden is confident in continued growth, aiming for double-digit growth and a 10% profit margin.
