Volvo global sales rise 5% as EVs gain momentum

Volvo Cars announced on December 4 that its global car sales in November totaled 66,977 units, a 5% YoY increase. The electric vehicle lineup showed robust performance, with sales of electrified models (fully electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles) rising 40% YoY, accounting for 48% of total car sales in November. Fully electric vehicles represented 21% of total sales for the month. From January to November, global car sales reached 689,585 units, a 9% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
