Beijing has increased the number of public holidays next year by two days, with one additional day added to both the Spring Festival and Labor Day holidays. This means that the 2025 Spring Festival will comprise an eight-day holiday. Within half an hour of the announcement, ticket search volume for the 2025 Spring Festival on the Qunar platform surged by 2.2 times, with travelers from Chengdu, Zhengzhou, and Shanghai booking tickets for travel before the eve of the Spring Festival (January 27).
