Blancpain awards $42K literary prize in Beijing

The seventh Blancpain-Imaginist Literary Prize ceremony was held in Beijing on October 21, where young writer Wei Sixiao won the top prize for his work The Land Is Wide, the Trees Are Wide (土广寸木). The Literary Award Committee granted Wei a prize of 300,000 RMB ($42,166) provided by Blancpain, along with a classic V series watch. During the ceremony, Blancpain also unveiled the limited edition watches for the 2024 Literary Prize, featuring the classic Villeret Complete Calendar Moonphase 6654 and the Moonphase Date Indicator 6126 in a champagne gray color. The gold rotor of the watches is engraved with an image of a quill pen, symbolizing the celebration of literary creativity.
