The company’s first wireless earbuds, named Ola Friend, integrate with ByteDance’s proprietary AI chatbot, allowing hands-free interaction. Set to hit the market in mid-October, these open-ear devices come with a price tag of 1,200 RMB ($170). The lightweight earphones offer features like language learning support and music playback, activated by a specific voice command. This product launch follows ByteDance’s strategic acquisition in the audio hardware sector and reflects its ongoing investment in AI technology.
