Global brand strategy and design consultancy InterBrand has released its “2024 China Best Brands Ranking,” with Ctrip being the only travel brand listed, showing a 20% increase in brand value to 7.309 billion RMB ($1.01 billion). Meanwhile, the 2024 World Travel Awards recently named Ctrip’s international platform as Asia’s Best Online Travel Agency. Ctrip’s Q2 2024 financial report indicates a significant revenue boost of approximately 70% for its international platform, with a 76% increase in revenue from the Asia-Pacific region. Currently, over 65% of Ctrip’s international transactions are completed via mobile, rising to 75% in Asia. Additionally, Ctrip recently opened an Asia Live Streaming Center in Thailand to enhance its international presence.
