South Korean online shoppers fuel 64.8% surge in Chinese imports
Cross-border e-commerce in South Korea exceeded 2 trillion won ($1.5 billion) in the second quarter, with Chinese products making up over 60% for the first time. This represents a 25.6% increase YoY, reaching a record high of 2 trillion won ($1.5 billion). China led the top markets with a 64.8% increase in transaction volume to 1.2 trillion won ($930 million), and the share of Chinese products rose to 61.4% from 46.8% last year.
