L’Oréal's Q2 growth slows to 5.3% as China sales decline
L’Oréal announced that its sales for the second quarter of this year increased by 5.3% YoY to 10.88 billion euros ($12.01 billion), below market expectations and the slowest quarterly growth since early 2022. During the quarter, sales growth in North America significantly slowed to 3.4%, while sales in Europe grew by 9.7%. Same-store sales in North Asia decreased by 2.4%, with most of the decline coming from the mainland China market; in the first quarter, the decline was 1.1%.
