Swiss watch exports totaled 2.274 billion Swiss francs ($2.55 billion) in June, a 7.2% YoY decline. The drop is partly due to two fewer working days and significant declines in Asian markets, excluding Japan. For the first six months of the year, global Swiss watch exports amounted to approximately 12.9 billion Swiss francs ($14.6 billion), a 3.3% YoY decrease. June data shows that among the top 12 markets, only the US and Japan saw increases, while other markets experienced varying degrees of decline, especially Mainland China (down 36.5%), Hong Kong (down 23.1%), and the UAE (down 19.6%).
