Porsche has announced a management reshuffle in China as part of its efforts to address sluggish sales in the market. The company stated on Saturday that Alexander Pollich will become CEO for mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau starting September 1, with his base in Shanghai. Detlev von Platen, a member of Porsche’s Sales and Marketing Executive Committee, said Pollich’s goal is to “further enhance the appeal of the Porsche brand in China.” The 57-year-old Pollich, who has been with Porsche for 23 years, has held various management roles and has served as Chairman of the Executive Committee at Porsche Deutschland GmbH since 2018.
