Anta Sports has appointed Zhao Guangxun as President of Maia Active, a yoga apparel brand, reporting directly to CEO Xu Yang. This move highlights Anta’s focus on the women's segment and strategic development of Maia. Zhao, currently Vice President of Retail Operations at Anta, has extensive retail strategy experience. Xu Yang, before becoming CEO, significantly increased Arc’teryx China's store revenues. Anta acquired a 75.13% stake in Maia last October. Founded in 2016 in Shanghai, Maia Active designs sportswear for Asian women and has received investments from Sequoia Capital, China Media Capital, China Growth Capital, and Belle International.
