What To Look For At 2011 S/S Shanghai Fashion Week

Fashion Week Continues Through October 25 Shanghai Fashion Week is back, officially kicking off yesterday with shows by the multi-label boutique SEVENDAYS, local superstar Uma Wang and Japanese designer Atsutot Ayama. Running through October 25, this year fashion week is possibly bigger than ever, with sponsors like Starbucks, Grey Goose and Swatch, international brands like Sweden's ODEUR taking part, and some of China's top models -- including Liu Wen and Xi Mengyao -- treading the runways. This year the local participants are looking strong as well, with Shanghainese designers like Jenny Ji (recently seen at Paris Fashion Week), Judy Hua, Simon Wang and Keeven Zhai putting on runway shows as the week goes on.
