The Chinese media has been on the offensive about foreign car companies' imported model prices for a while now, accusing brands of inflating their costs as a way of "discriminating" against Chinese customers. While it's still unclear whether or not the price difference is attributed more to tariffs, as the car companies state, or to company markups as alleged by China's media, it's hard to argue about one thing: the price difference is huge.
