7th Edition Of Hong Kong Fair To Include Over 80 Dealers from Asia, Europe And The USA Fine Art Asia 2010 attracted dealers and collectors from around the world Running for its seventh year, Fine Art Asia 2011 will once again bring its combination of contemporary and antique, East and West, to Hong Kong from October 3-7. Taking place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, this year's event -- for which Jing Daily is an official media partner -- will include more than 80 hand-picked dealers from Asia, Europe and the United States, exhibiting everything from ancient Chinese stone wares and ceramics to bronzes, jade, fine art jewelry, contemporary art and sculptures from China and around the world. Timed to coincide with this autumn's auction season, the event looks to attract the influx of dealers, collectors and art lovers who flock to Hong Kong's auction houses from mainland China, Japan, Europe and the US. Referred to by contemporary art dealer Sundaram Tagore as the "Maastricht of Asia," Fine Art Asia 2011 will include top international dealers such as Michael Goedhuis (London), Robert Hall (London), Rossi & Rossi (London), Robert Kleiner (London), Sundaram Tagore (New York, Beverly Hills and Hong Kong), Kai-Yin Lo (Hong Kong), Somlo Antiques (London), Teresa Coleman Fine Arts (Hong Kong), Plum Blossoms Gallery (Hong Kong), Jacqueline Simcox (London), Nicholas Grindley (London), MD Flacks (New York) and Galerie Dumonteil (Paris and Shanghai). Dealers appearing at this year's event for the first time will include Mallett (London), Veronique Bamps (Monaco), Robert Bowman Gallery (London), Koopman Rare Art (London), Littleton & Hennessy Asian Art (London, New York), Priestley & Ferraro Chinese Art (London), Gioia (New York), Siegelson (New York), F2 Gallery (Beijing), Carlton Hobbs (New York), Waterhouse and Dodd (London), Berwald Oriental Art (London), Da Peng Ge (Beijing) and Wui Po Kok (Hong Kong). The event's organizers appear confident that Hong Kong's rise as a key international auction market, a development fueled by growing demand from mainland Chinese new collectors, will make this year's Fine Art Asia the most successful yet.
