It’s not just Greek resorts that hope China’s growing consumer class will help get them out of hard times. This week, Bloomberg looks at Greek jewelry, watch and accessories brand Folli Follie as it turns increasingly to emerging markets like China while customers at home cut back.

Currently with more than 100 points of sale in China and a strong duty-free presence — reaching China’s at times profligate duty-free shopper — Folli Follie hopes to attract more Chinese shoppers via a localized, heritage-minded ad campaign heavy on Greek imagery.
