Following its unveiling in Beijing and Hong Kong last month, Italian designer Romeo Gigli‘s comeback collection for Hong Kong retailer JOYCE hit Venice last week as filmmakers, celebrities and VIPs descended upon the city for its annual film festival. Located at Calle de Ridotto, near Plaza San Marco, the 1,000 square foot pop-up stocks the current A/W 2012 collection, though VIPs got to take a sneak peek at the S/S 2013 collection at the grand opening. Decorated in nostalgic stripes, the pop-up is punctuated with vintage wooden furniture and lamps and features a selection images of the collection shot by Chinese fashion photographer Chen Man (Jing Daily exclusive interview).

This collaboration with Romeo Gigli is only the latest for JOYCE, which has long been admired for its hand-picked collaborations with up-and-coming designers and established names. Before teaming up with Gigli, JOYCE most recently launched an online-only capsule collection with young designers such as Yang Du, Charles Frederick Worth, and Rad Hourani and hosted a pop-up shop for Alexander Wang.
