For her recent wave-inspired S/S 14 collection presented at this fall's Paris Fashion Week, designer Masha Ma teamed up with graphic designer Neville Brody to produce looks featuring geometric motifs in a “meeting point” between visual form and fashion, according to Brody.

In a new video interview with Models.com, Ma and Brody discuss their experiences with the design process. Ma states that this year, her label had “a new kind of support from the industry,” with fabric suppliers who service major fashion houses like Balenciaga requesting to create custom orders for her, even though they “hadn’t worked with anyone in China yet.”

“I think what’s interesting is the idea of mixing design and fashion, and then looking at a new space that comes out of that, so it’s certainly been very inspiring for me to work with Masha,” says Brody. Watch the rest of the interview in the video above.
