As Jing Daily and many others have covered extensively, Shanghai is in the midst of a cultural explosion. Long focused primarily on transforming itself into an economic powerhouse at the peril of rivaling Beijing for cultural primacy, Shanghai is nurturing its creative side with new art museums, cafes and teahouses, boutiques and high-end lifestyle and design venues.
This week, CNN offers a "sneak peek" at Shanghai's cultural side, and despite the video's brevity it is clear that "China's most luxurious city" also has a great deal of creative buzz.
