Grand Opening Party Features Chinese Celebrities & Crystal Lions#
The ever-growing roster of high-end retail shops at Beijing's Sanlitun Village can now add
Swarovski#
to its ranks, with the recent opening of the leading crystal brand's newest China flagship. To celebrate the launch, the store held a launch party entitled "Tropical Paradise," featuring its new 2013 Spring/Summer collection.
Celebrities in attendance included singer Fish Leong and Hong Kong actor Li Zhiyan, in addition to brand reps such as Swarovski Greater China Area Sales & Operations VP Francis Belin and Swarovski China GM Donna Pang.
Swarovski consigned renowned Japanese architect Tokujin Yoshioka to design its interiors and visual displays for the new store. Themed “Crystal Forest,” the interiors made use of crystal chandeliers, crystal plaques and mirrors to create a space that loses visitors in an imaginative crystalline world all its own.
The launch party was planned to meet the local flavor of Swarovski's Chinese clients. Embedded with more than 100,000 pieces of crystal, two crystal lions handcrafted by Swarovski, worth over one million yuan, captivated attendees.
The brand also showed several items from its “Tropical Paradise” collection, including jewelry pieces in the "Tangara," "Texture," and "Triumph" patterns.
